It's 'Comma' - the new collection by Zen Chic for Moda. At the moment, only the precuts are available (for example in Fat Quarter Shop) but the yardage is comming this month.

Since I've seen this fabric line in Moda's Fall Quilt Market catalog, I knew it's worth waiting for and would work great with modern quilt design. The colour combo is gorgeous: sunny yellows, oranges, leaf greens and neutrals. It's one of the few fabric lines where I can honestly say, that I like all the fabrics really much:

ReplyDeletePoczekałabym na moment aż czarne tkaniny będą dostępne na jardy i uszyłabym prosty quilt, w którym kwadraty z Charm packa byłyby otoczone tymi czarnymi (jeszcze nie wiem jak dokładnie, ale to jako pierwsze przyszło mi do głowy:D).

ReplyDeleteI would separate the colors. The yellow and oranges for a long in-progress quilt for myself, the greens for an i-spy I'm working on and the grey/white/black for my Block of the Month (lucky stars/skill builder) and 3x6 bee blocks!

I'd use the charm pack to make a purse! That way I can see as many of these fabrics as possible! With the mini, I think I'd make a decorative pillow for my bed.
