Summer is aproaching and I thought that I would like to have a picnic blanket. It took me few days of walking around and thinking about what I want. I wanted something modern, geometric and on dark background.
And in such colours:
So I made a project of my 'Amethyst Ring' quilt using Hope Valley fabrics from Free Spirit (it will measure 63" x 71"):
As I had a FQ bundle of Hope Valley in Fiesta at home, I started with the circle (I changed the inner part slightly).
I use instructions and templates from Lily's Quilts blog and her QAL.
Now I'm waiting for the fabric which I ordered and soon I will continue...
