My 5 minutes... my quilt will be in the book!

I got back from holidays in a great mood. One thing is, that I'm relaxed and I really enjoyed the time in the place where I've been, and the second, that finally, the results from the Jelly Roll 'Dream Challange' were given.

You can read all about the challange on JellyRollQuilters web.

My jelly roll quilt top got into top 12!!! Can you imagine that?!

All twelve quilts will be in the next book. There are also 3 first (*huge*) prizes to be won but the top three will be anounced at the end of October at Fall Quilt Market in Houston.

I can't believe my luck! And to be honest, I wouldn't do it without you. It started with the Mug Rug contest organised by Madamme Samm. Thanks to all who voted, I won a jelly roll. My first ever jelly roll. I didn't have any idea what to do with it. Julianna from Jednoiglec Project Town gave me the link to the web and to the contest. Without her I wouldn't even know that such web exists. Lots of warm thoughts to you Julianna!

Of course I wouldn't be able to it without YOU! All of you... who comment, who get inspired by my work or simply just jump on my blog from time to time. Thank you!

If you are looking for inspiration for the jelly roll quilt, I can fully recommend you the last 'Jelly Roll Inspirations' book compiled by Pam and Nicky Lintott:

And of course the new book which will be published soon ;) !

*wish you a happy day*
