Blue Whale PP pattern {& a Giveaway!}

The whale block measures 10" x 12". 
Fabrics I used:
*'Blue bubbles on green' from Mod Century collection by Jenn Ski
*'Cream circles on grey' from Comma collection by Zen Chic

  10. My daughter would love this one!! My favorite sea themed fabric line has to be Mendocino. I also liked Don't Be Crabby, High Tide, and Out to Sea lines.

  13. I have a bundle of SaltWater and a bundle of lucys Crab Shack that I have been hoarding waiting on the right patterns. I haven't tried Paper Piecing but this might just be what i need to give it a try. Do you think it would be a beginner paper piecing pattern?

  17. I love your whale, the seahorse is calling me too. I love Lucy's Crab Shack too but really most blues remind me of the sea and I love working with blue solids for that reason too.

  33. Just read Moby Dick, so I would love a whale pattern! My favourite sea creature fabric is the green octopus print in Tula Pink's Salt Water Just finishing a quilt with it now and it's awesome!.

  36. This is awesome! I have never really paid attention to sea themed fabric before. Though I did use come rolling waves for some sail boat wall hangings I made for a friend's wedding.
