Although yesterday was the last day of Oktoberfest, I wanted to present you 2 new PP patterns closely connected with Oktoberfest. I mean, there are several patterns for Christmas, Easter, Halloween or Valentines, so why not Oktoberfest :)
Oktoberfest is the world's largest fair held
annually in Munich, Bavaria, Germany.
It is a 16-day festival running from late September to the first weekend in
October. I wouldn't call myslef a huge beer enthusiast, but I like to drink one from time to time (like in hot Summer evening or while at barbecue with friends). In Germany, beer is a part of the culture and it's the most common drink on parties and with so many sorts of beer here, everybody (of those, who drink beer of course) can find something suiting his taste.
When I think about the Beer Mug PP block I somehow see it on the front of a BBQ apron for a guy. What would you use it for?

The second pattern is a Dirndl.
A dirndl is
a type of a dress which was once commonly worn in Bavaria
and Austria,
and it continues to be worn in these regions for special occasions. You can see many photos of girls and women in dirndl while Oktoberfest.
Drugi z wzorow to Dirndl, czyli stroj oparty o historyczny ubiór chłopów zamieszkujących Alpy. Dziewczyny ubrane w tej strój zobaczyć można wlasnie na festiwalu Oktoberfest.

I love these! After 6 years of German language courses, I am hoping the military takes us there some day. I have a SIL there now, and these would be great to make for her! Now I need a Lederhosen pattern to make a little trio wall hanging. ;)
