'Pathfinder' in International Quilt festival Quilt Scene 2012

I was not writing anything for a long time, I know, but my mum came to visit me for two weeks so I tried to spend as much time as I can with her. I have a lot to share with you, though (I was sewing a lot with my mum, especially Christmas ornaments), but I'll do it one step at a time :)
I'll start with my 'Pathfinder' quilt. It was published in International Quilt festival Quilt Scene 2012 and arrived back to me last week together with the copy of the magazine. I love that quilt and the organic feel it has and I think that is my favourite lap quilt I've made. I used Cloud 9 'Cut out and Keep' fabrics, Quilter's linen in taupe and Kona bone. The binding is from DS's Hope Valley.

Moj quilt 'Pathfinder' zostal opublikowany w International Quilt festival Quilt Scene 2012 i wlasnie pod koniec poprzedniego tygodnia do mnie wrocil (razem z kopia magazynu). Przyznam sie, ze to chyba moj ulubiony lap quilt, jaki dotychczas uszylam. Uwielbiam materialy Cloud 9 (Cut out and Keep), z ktorych quilt jest uszyty (glownie; poza tym jest tam Kona bone, Quilter's linen w kolorze taupe, a material na lamowke pochodzi z kolekcji Hope Valley od Denyse Schmidt), bardzo podoba mi sie tez prostota wzoru i kolory:

Love that photo in the magazine!

Czyz to zdjecie w magazynie nie jest sliczne ;) ?
